Dancing in the wind
berry trees throw their blossom
into the blue sky.

Hanging like grape vines
sycamore flowers cascade
onto just mown grass.

Heavy with pollen
warm winds caress yellow fields
with a lover’s hand.

Two poems on the theme of Outside my window on Hudson Valley Haiku Kai

Outside my window
teasing sun plays hide-and-seek
with sycamore leaves.

Outside my window
flowers grow in the long grass
of my neighbour’s lawn.
