June 22

The north wind blows in
bringing darker clouds and rain
a pigeon shelters.

Air rushing through leaves
sounds like a half-heard whisper
wind chimes ring softly.

Midway through cooking
I suddenly realise
my own good fortune.

After the rain storm
a spider respins her web
thread by thread by thread.
